Removing speed limiter

hi and slam to all pakwheelerz
i want to ask about the speed limiter in my caprice 88 american version it cannt go above 140 km/h even though i made a new engine and gearbox engine ki running time bhi poori hooo gai hai.. is there any modding in the ecu or else i have to change the speedo meter ot american version vith saudi version.

ay be it crosses 140 but your speedometer shows max 140km/h

ohh man !! there are two version of this car one is vith speed limiter which is mine and other is vithout it which is shoin full meter 200km/h

leave it on, you will not be able to control the auto car with soft suspension at higher speed.

ha ill not b able to control man dont think that ksa is like pak the roadz r so smoth and i drove my friend caprice to 180 km/h pz anyone who knows about speed limiter

anyways wat has speed limiter got to do with this?ur car speedo is made till 140.even if it crosses that,u wont know.
and i doubt ur car is even efi

is mein 200 walla meter bhi hai jis mein speed limiter nahi laga ataa jaisai pak mein her gaari pe speed limiter laga hota hai rite

only JDM cars and the later models of Altis were "electronically limited" to around 180

Saudia has no laws to speed limit cars as far as i know, like japan and USA

just change the speedometer of ur car. if it has the potential,it will cross 140

ur speedo ends at 140km/hr

Actually that's the EU. And in Japan they're limited to 170 or 180 (can't remember- i think your 180 was correct). As much as I can figure, there's no such government mandated top speed limiter in the US. This I figured because there's no speed limiter on the Nissan GT-R in the United States, whereas in the rest of the world, the GT-R has a speed governer that kicks in at 111mph.

Those cars also had ABS airbags and crumple zones unlike your cars.So even if you do magically survive a crash at 200kph the shock wave generated will be enough to give you the then much needed bedrest for 6 months.

In 88 model caprice (carb) non efi has no speed limiter only show 140km speedo cause for california state, it can go up to 200km but speedo needle will stop at end of 140km, its as like my caprice, has 140km meter but i drive more than 140km, if u not saticfy change meter from old dump (hraj) where u can find 200km speedo of same fitting.
