Actually that's the EU. And in Japan they're limited to 170 or 180 (can't remember- i think your 180 was correct). As much as I can figure, there's no such government mandated top speed limiter in the US. This I figured because there's no speed limiter on the Nissan GT-R in the United States, whereas in the rest of the world, the GT-R has a speed governer that kicks in at 111mph.
