Turbo Sim is provided in 2 forms by different shop keepers.
They cut the original SIM to get it work. This isn't a recommended approach. This doesn't mean that the SIM will become useless with any other cell phone, but it's not a good approach.
There is a sleek circuit jacket that goes on top of the original SIM and inserted along with the SIM in the socket.
These techniques disables / bypasses the circuit that checks for netowrk identity to which it is locked. this way, the cell phone starts working with any network.
few people reported different kind of problems after getting turbo sim. The nature of problem appears to be different for different people, therefore, it's hard to say whether it's because of turbo sim or some thing else.
however, even if some one faces problem due to turbo sim, it's still good to get a phone working than not getting it worked at all.
