Salam PWers! I need some info regarding spark plugs for Suzuki Jimny. I'd appreciate it if someone could provide me with all the details(brand, part number, price, etc.) of the spark plugs which will be most suitable for M13a.

id shud be in ur cars owners manual, assuming dat u have the 1.3L means u bot it brand new. japanese reconditioned were 660cc..
posted it in this section because only a handful of people are experts on Jimny and those people happen to b 4x4 enthusiats.

Denso K20PR-U11 and NGK BKR6E-11 are the ones recommended in the manual. Are these 1, 2, or 4 tip plugs??
the ones bkr6e are recomended for BAleno. and M13a is the same engine in liana nd Jimny.
so if liana also uses the same plugs as Baleno, then ik-20 iridiums are the best for the 1 coils per 2 cylinder system (or waste spark system). but they cost u around Rs. 4300 a set
Denso k20pr-u11 (i tried to find em but i couldnt) u can find ngk bkr6e easlily in the market.
Denso k20r-11 (are Toyota corolla plugs).
for reffernce about the 1 coil for 2 plugs system.

2009 base model with a 1.3L M13a costs around Rs. 1.55million and the fully loaded version costs around something like Rs. 1.70million. among JDM imports 06-07 model with a 660cc intercooled engine costs something around Rs. 0.7-0.8million.

and secondly is there a difference between shell of 660 cc and 1300 cc.
earlier 2000 models are hard to come by. i personally admire the 1989-1992 Jimny Sierra 1300. i m currently looking for one in a great shape but uptil now, no such luck.
In Japanese domestic market jimny with 1.3L M13a is known as Jimny Wide as opposed to 660cc being called as just Jimny. Jimny Wide has a slightly wider shell as compared to 660cc. Don't really know abt the chasis.
Thanks, i am also looking for sierra/samurai with coil suspension , all i can see is body changed all around or a jimny wide if the price is reasonable .
There is one jimny wide for sale in DHA, LHR. It appears to b a 2002 model and a UK import. The best thing abt it is tht it's a soft top which r very hard to come by and it is red in colour which makes it even more rare.
Are u talking about the one which took part in 4 by 4 engaged mud rally ? 2002 models dont have m13a engines i guess , any way, any further details , like price or owners contact will be highly appreciable , regards
I don't think its the same one. The one tht took part in the mud rally was registered and this one had UK number plates on it. M13a was launched with the following shape and this is the same shape being manufactured since 2000 or so. All earlier models had a G13b.
Its standing at one of the showrooms located at the entrance of DHA while coming from cavalry ground. i'll b sure to get the contact number of the owner wenever i m in DHA next time.
