bought this Nissan sunny 89 few days back...
it was in ok condition but before bringing it back home we thought that it should get a fresh paint job..! nd makeover...!
Work done:
Engine swapped with Nissan 16 valve Twin cam
Power windows
power steering
15" Alloy rims with Dunlop V-shape tires

Boss, Nissan use galvanised steel which keeps rust away for a longer period of time. the kind of welding done will rust very fast. Anyways, at least you are improving it 
^^ that welding u see in the pic is not dne by our denter...it was previously done...
We have replaced it with a sheet nd i dont have new pics at the moment but will try taking pics on my nxt visit

good Project again dear. you should not go for the carby engine any how good going. i have also planned to go for the same project but unable to find *a decent B12/B13 yet . any how if you need any thing let me know as i have a complete half cut of GT nissan lying with me.

Update : paint sprayed over car..needs paper nd compounding but before compound denter needs to fit things back..

I have the same car and am in the process of swapping engines and repairing the body as well.
Curious to know where you got the power windows from and for how much. I've been looking for the power windows set up here in Karachi and tried to get new ones as the motors are more reliable but havent had much luck. People are trying to shove used motors my way, and I'm trying to avoid having to buy those as I didnt have much luck with them in the past.

From the looks, I think these lights will fit on my Nissan 91 (B13)? I think the prices for these lights are more than reasonable, and I'll go for these if they can fit on my Nissan.
Also share the cost of swapping the engine. I recently overhauled the existing 1300CC E-series carby engine, but may switch to a GA16DE (1600cc EFI engine) in near future.
