Profile Update in new FBR IRIS Portal?

AA,

Any one knows how to update your Employer's info (NTN etc) in new FBR's IRIS Portal ?

In old portal this section was with your profile/registration information. But now when I login to old portal and try to click on Profile it takes me to new IRIS portal and there I could not find the page where I could update my Employer's information.

Please let me know if any one knows or have updated his profile info recently in IRIS .

Individuals with salaried income can not update their EMPLOYER, It happens only when employer expunge them from their pay roll.

I am already a registered Tax Payer, in old portal (the link you have shared) there was option to update your home address, email , employer's NTN etc. but in IRIS there is no such option.

And this is my question that how to update my profile info ? if I have changed my email,cell or employer..where can I update this ?

you can only change your own profile use save option at each level / section go through after saving all sections print & then use submit button online. You may receive a phone call from FBR between 0800 ~ 2359 Monday to Friday for reconfirmation of updated details

And as I said in my very first post , clicking View Profile or Change Profile redirects you to this https://iris.fbr.gov.pk/infosys/public/txplogin.xhtml and here if you try to fill form 181 and after selecting Period you get this error: "Transaction not allowed as workflows rules failed"

So please tell me if some one has actually tried to modified his profile and it worked....

error you mentioned above is at FBR portal and very common these days. try again sometime during weekdays also try & seek guidance from help line at 051 111 772 772, update this thread when your problem is resolved and how it was done

quick question for @capsat OR any other person who knows this FBR's IRIS system :

I applied for extension in time for filing return 119(1)/114, clicked on submit and now that appears in the outbox. Is it sent ? Or what ? And from experience how long would it take to be checked/read ?

Just login at IRIS, Take your open 181(form of registration filed for modification) and search for tax year 2016 select tax period as 01-07-2015 to 30-06-2016, you will never get mentioned error Transaction not allowed as workflows rules failed, because you can only update your registration info related to coming period. After opening Registration form, Go to links tab and add your employer there, after that submit the form. And you are done.

FBR has left a lakuna to 'Support' the people at respective RTO offices, to make money.

visit your concerned RTO office goto the help desk and you will be referred to IT section operator who can update the data against SOME fee.

make sure you compile every data you want to change and print it in double space on paper so to avoid data entry operator error. Once he complete the task request him to give you a draft print out before submission double check, request him to submit, Pay him agreed feed, after you have submitted correct print out which has print date & time of submission at bottom.

approx 500 - 1000 is fee for update of data. at RTO Offices.
