Process of selling unregistered car

Hi respected members,

I have bought a brand new Alto vxl,i have not applied for its registeration since govt has announced to decrease taxes on cars below 850cc iam trying to make an early exit by selling it on no profit no loss before revision of price.

I have 2 queries from fellow members

1)What is the legal process to sell an unregistered car in punjab?(paper work and govt charges if any)
2)Is there any tax need to be paid if we sell car within 90 days,if yes how and when it is paid.

Also advise me on the above matter should i hold car or sell it asap to avoid loss.

you shall register the car after 10th of july.
price reduction of vehicles will be applicable for booking in next FY which starts from July 01. So far there is no price reduction applied by the manufacturers.

Registering the vehicle after 10th July will reduced the WHT amount if you are a filer.

in order to dispose of the vehicle you shall have factory invoice & delivery letter under your name. Buyer will demand cnic copy original invoice & original factory / dealership delivery letter. Plus a sale deed over stamp paper. money transaction receipt will be between buyer & seller excise office will not demand such financial receipt.

I don't think these profit mongering manufacturers will decrease the price of their cars due to reduced taxes, unless directed by the government.

In Pakistan, once a price goes up it goes even higher never down. Decrease in taxes mean more profit for the company. Customers don't have any union, which I think they should. The manufactures here are free to maximize profit without any regard to customers.
