Aoa! Is this the normal Coolant level for Prius 3rd Gen? It’s a little below the Low line. Plus is it necessary to change the Coolant after certain kilometres?

I’d say top it up with Toyota Super Long Life anti freeze pink one till the mark on reservoir when cold.

It's supposed to be between low and high mark on the reservoir.

The coolant should not be this low, top it up to the high mark and check to see if it looses coolant or not. yes coolant must be changed if it is a long lasting coolant it must be changed after 150k kilometers. This is all mentioned on the coolant bottle you purchase from Toyota.

Yes. In case of Toyota, it is generally recommended to change coolant after 1 lac Kms or 05 years, whichever comes first.

I think the coolant level is usually low in a parked car. Coolant level is supposed to be checked in driven / driving temperature car.

Usually, in such cases, and as far as know, the periods are counted as 20,000 Kms (or miles, where miles system is there) in 01 year.

Its ok interval. 3yrs is good time it can be stretched to 4yrs not more than this. On my civic 2014 i changed the coolant when car was driven 150k kms and in years like it was around 4yrs. I flushed the system and poured fresh Honda Type-2 coolant blue. Also its wise to change thermostat valve with it when flushing cooling system at 150k kms.

Yes. Rightly said and agreed. As I mentioned above:

You had already passed the lac Kms criteria, so at 150,000 Kms, it had become necessary to change the coolant (here 05 years criteria could not apply).

I do not know about Honda, but for Toyota, and generally speaking, it can even be stretched to 05 years, provided car is not driven more than 1 lac Kms.

Kms criteria and time criteria, both work side by side, and whichever comes first rule applies usually.
