Im a die hard Honda fanboy and own a red civic reborn,unfortunately my civic became a victim to reckless driving of a woman driver who rear ended the poor thing claiming that i braked to hard, i was wondering how much money i would have lost now that I've got the thing fixed but it definitely doesnt look original should

leave it for the time being. the damage is not much, but it has not been repaired properly.

better to source out a new boot lid and have it color matched to your vehicle. rather than repairing the old one.

honda showroom will be too much expensive.

Any price on a new lid in karachi? And how much would it affect its resale these cars have been going for 13laks with orignal condition will i even get 11laks now tht it was crashed?

you will get your asking price if you are honest. it will take time but a genuine buyer will give you asking price.

did she pay for the damage ? i mean the one rear ending the car is usually considered at fault.

same thing happened to me at Wapda Town roundabout, but it was a rickshaw, i braked, he hit my rear bumper and tried to run away... though the damage wasn't visible, but i chased him down just to make him apologize to what he did (rear ended and fled the scene) ...

My personal view is that it would not have much of an impact on the resale. I guess you had some body work done (trunk lid and rear bumper) and new lights for the left side. Frontal hits generally result in decrease in resale value because the extent of damage tends to be more since there are more working parts present in the front of the car.

You were the one who was supposed to blame her bro. not her blaming you.. cause she rear ended you.

yes, the resale will decrease somewhat cause the car is "accidented" now, sadly

but forget about it and keep it with you for a long time and eventually after a certain age of a car, people do expect these minor broken seals in a car and the lower resale won't hurt that much after a longer period of time ...

If repaired properly resale would not affect much. Whoever repaired the damage seems inexperienced. Do search before taking it for repair. Honda will do the job properly with higher labor cost and parts.,

In karachi, this won't make much of a difference on the price, because over there, these incidents are a lot more common than in the twin cities. Enjoy your car. No issues

You can simply get a genuine new trunk and bumper. Bumper shoudn't be much costly, i changed my Civic X bumper from Honda and it was around 7500 Rs. Whoever repaired your vehicle didn't seem much interested to work it seems.

Getting a red trunk will be a back breaking job and idk where to get the color properly done i want to take it to Honda but i really dont wanna go completely bankrupt but yes getting a new trunk is better than investing in an alrdy deformed one lets hope i can get one in red color

This is a question better suited for the workshop themselves. Yazdani is good / very good but certainly not the best.

If money is no object, burney autos on kashmir road might be a better option. I cannot speak for their workmanship / quality as I've personally not gotten any work done from them.
