Salam everybody,
As per subject captioned above. I just wanna know that other than 2700 and 4000 cc. What are the differences b/w 2.7 tx and 4.0tz regarding fuel consumption, drive, acceleration, top speed, consumption on long routes, market value and all other factors.
Plus, within the range of 1.20 crores which variant is worth to buy. If there is any other better option othet than prodo in this price bracket, please guide.

In addition to TXL,TZG will be having memory seat, height control,dual AC,cool box,Genuine navigation TV,,Tele scopic steering Different Alloys

Just the engine alone makes the TZ.G far superior to the TX.
The 4L V6 on the TZ is much faster than the 2.7L. It easily hits the limiter at 180 kph. Fuel consumption is between 5.5-6.5 kmpl.

Wahab Bhai, I have both TX 2.7 2011 and TX 4.0 2010, I must say that this is just a misconception of people that 4000cc Prado has bad fuel consumption. My 4000cc Prado has always given me an average of 7-8 Km/l within city and on Ring Road it has given me 12 Km/l. It’s just a matter of power to weight ratio of the car. I would suggest that you go with TZ.G it has height control (Air Suspension), memory electric leather seats, sunroof, ambient lighting , an upgraded sound system, electric rear seats, cool box and adaptive cruise control.

Also I must tell you that I use Mobil 1 5w-50 with 6500 km intervals. The 2.7 Prado gives me 7 in city but on long routes it max gives me 10 Km/l.

TX lacks the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) apart from many goodies.
Why not opt for LC 200 AXG, it’s better in many aspects.

These days in range of 1.2 crore you can hardly find a clean 2012 txl prado.
