Hi im looking to buy a monoblock amplifier for 2 pioneer 309 svc's i have two options as under
- Pioneer GM-D9601
- Kenwood KAC-9106D
Im bit of confused which one should i go with. i dont want to go with any amp which is not CEA certified and with CEA certification they both r not very expensive amps they fall in my budget.
As par my knowledge my subs are 800 watt RMS both (400 RMS each) and 2800 Watt Peak (1400 watt each).
Pioneer GM-D9601: its 1200 RMS @ 1 ohm, 800 RMS @ 2 ohm, 500 RMS @ 4 ohm and peak power 2400 watt (the only concern for me about pioneer amp is it only have gain and freq knobs for adjustments)
Kenwood KAC-9106D: Its 1000 RMS @ 2 ohm, 500 RMS @ 4 ohm and peak power 2000 Watt (this amp have LPF, Bass bost, ISFfrequency (i have no idea what ISF is) and sensitivity knobs for adjustments)
I looking to have advise which one should i go with. Thank you for your help, advise and time :)in advance.......
Regards
Faraz
