One day trip to Sharan Forest and Manshi Top

The trip to Sharan forest had been pending for quite a while. This time, me, Alamgir and Rizwan Abbasi made plans to go to Sharan forest.

We parked the car at Paras, paying Rs 500 for parking. From there, we booked a jeep that charged us Rs 8000 for the round trip. After a 1.5-hour jeep journey, we reached the camping pods in Sharan. We had already booked the camping pods in advance for Rs 4000 per night. Upon reaching Sharan, we checked into our pod and after a while, we headed out to see the Sharan waterfall. The waterfall was about a 30-minute distance away. It was incredibly beautiful, and we spent some time there before returning. The climb back was steep, taking around 1 hour. The kitchen in the Sharan pods had facilities for us to cook, but we ordered a chicken karahi from them, which was ready on time. The food was excellent amidst the jungle; it was just a little undercooked due to the high altitude, as meat takes time to cook there.

We had dinner and then went to our pod. There were only two beds in the pod, but there was a mat/sleeping bag/blanket available for the third person. We spent the night there. The pods were clean and tidy. There was also a washroom available, which was also clean. We were satisfied with the available services. In the morning, we had breakfast and then set out for Manshi Top. I convinced Alamgir a lot, but he wasn't ready. We went to Manshi Top without a guide. On the trail, we got off track and lost our way, eventually reaching near a house. There, I convinced a young boy around 12-13 years old to take us to Manshi Top. Despite this, we got lost on the trail, but we reached Manshi Top in 2.5 hours. The view from the top was very beautiful. We stayed there for 30 minutes and then started our way back. On the return journey, it took us about 45 minutes to reach back to the Sharan pods
