Oiled air filter vs dry air filter

I live in peshawar and have city 2018 model now I want to shift to dry air filter because the oiled one gets dirty even after 5000 km which I replace from honda north in peshawar, As it is costly and the weather is usually dry here in peshawar so some body suggested me to try dry air filter as they are more durable and can give good mileage too. When I discussed the issue with honda dealer they just refused by saying to get the oil one from them and replace it. At that point I noticed that they were just trying to cash in instead of giving any answer .
Need an advice from the members regarding this issue

The issue with oiled one is that it gets chocked up really badly really quickly.I suggest to use dry one and change oil from outside than dealership as they completely rip people off.We experienced same with civic x.

True that. I faced the same issue in my k&n oiled air filter. It clogged badly at 5k kms. Had to clean it at every 5k kms. Oem filters works fine for 10k kms.
