Hi! Got hands on a B12 1989. Body was in good condition with minor rust in the side skirts and below door garnish.

Got the whole car stripped and here I am getting new skirts installed while majority paint stripped off.

Didn't took photos earlier so these are the latest I have.

BTW I'm looking for its rear bumper the face-lift one. Can someone help me find one?

So there were few pieces needed to be welded where there was rust. Got em spot welded however I, beleive there needs to be some kind of protection and seam sealent installed, just can't figure out the product. Can someone suggest?

Apply 3M Cavity wax! and to cover / seal the seams use 3m Seam Sealers!

Also take the dashboard off the car it will get damaged and you wont find the missing bits!

Car came home on Thursday all denting work was done. There are few imperfections that I'd get sorted today and then would hand over the car to the painter.

Cleaned the bed since there was too much dust in there, seems all good now.

Still not able to source the rear bumper, any leads?

Alright, so the car was sent to the painter's place yesterday and guess what? Dude wants 10 days for the job , khair mugha konsa jaldi!

While passing by, visited today and there is progress!
Whole boddy was sanded and putty at places it needed to be, rear fenders needed some shape adjustment and front fenders weren't aligned well so that was done too. Bonnet was at another place and I went back to pick it up, by the time came back, car was being sprayed with primer.
This guy is fast and Idk what do he need those 10 days for .

The Denter I hired earlier was someone I trusted magar is bar to bhaeee, zaleel kar dia, he outsourced the job to someone else and that guy didn't stood up to the standards and Jo double time le lia wo alag. Khair jaan chutti and its over now!

You should have the panel gaps adjusted before the paint! there are many inconsistencies! also the amount of body filler! it is hell to much! @nnabeel bhai plz take a look

Gaps have been adjusted for and will be taken care of BEFORE the paint.
It might look like there's too much body filler on that metal but trust me it isn't, I'm very much concerned with regards to this!

Both rear doors got rusty and I had to get new metal welded on below the door garnish so there might be some putty and the rear driver side quarter was hit so there might be some too except for that the whole body was in great condition (considering its age).

Today's update!
The first primer was applied and scrubbed down, work on bonnet has also been initiated and rear quarter needed some adjustment so it has also been looked after. Ab kal Denter jayga and there are few discrepancies thst he would look into so that final touchups can be made before the color is applied.
Meanwhile I'd get the interior trim and fittings washed tomorrow and rear light needed repairing, wo bhi ho jayga.
Would take the other side mirror to the workshop taka uspa bhi primer lag jay and paint ho sake.

Got delivered with the the bumper today which I sourced from Rawalpindi, its brand new and socalled "Malaysian". Quality seems good.

Alright, so got the rear bumper installed today (I know it's the pre-facelift magar kya karain, dusra mhnga bohat tha!).
Few adjustments had to be done with the doors and fender, sab ho gya.

Planned to have the cavity wax or some kind of rust protection spray but couldn't find anything in the market locally so I decided to go with the classical "compound" for at least the places I had new sheet metal welded on.
