hey fellow Pakwheelers hope everything is doing good,, the forums dont seem to get that much attention as there was n the past, well i was thinking to start this thread for a while and lets see how much activity it gets.

we have had this Nissan with us for something around half of its life and it has literally never let us down or stranded us on the road no matter what the circumstances and yes we have an emotional value attached with this car, lots of memories and good trips.

the vehicle is now in need of a full restoration as it is starting to show its age and it has some rust issues as well as some body damage, the engine is also leaking oil everywhere, the suspension is shot , to cut things short, its needs a complete restoration and everything needs to be redone properly, plus thinking of adding some custom made parts on it to increase the safety and performance of the vehicle.

some pictures attached of the current position

it wasnt always like this , it was a well kept and taken care of , for reference i am attaching pictures of the good old days.

the vehicle has been stripped of its interior , and then the chassis has been stripped of the doors, and all the removable panels, also including the suspension and the engine, thus making it easy to work on the chassis and properly take care of all the problems that are there, including the rust and dented and deformed underbody.

sir @mubeen.chohan a very interesting thread after very long time.
is work in progress or completed and vehicle back on road ? please update soon

thanks for the support, its a work in progress, and it will be a slow project. will be updating from time to time.
the vehicle is still n the air by the way, hehehe

its not the stock motor, this ENGINE is named GA15DE, the engine was swapped way back in 2014,, and it was running fine but was showing signs of wear.. it will also get its share of love in this restoration

new rocker panels and the other areas that are on the inside were thoroughly painted to prevent corrosion once repaired and replaced,

this piece was fabricated to replace the missing piece in inside the rocker panel, these panels are essential to the provide the strength to the vehicle and make it sturdy and prevent flexing of the chassis.

after stripping the vehicle the first thing that we do is fix the floors, first we examined the floors, marked the rusty areas and removed the floor strengthening panels on the underside,, these were removed by drilling genuine spot welds, these were dented and damaged, these will be fixed and welded on again after we fix the floor pans.

time for an update, well the b12 has not seen much work since last update, the work is somewhat in a pause state, the floors are almost patched up, but the front passenger side area is badly rusted, and there are rust holes in a somewhat tricky area,, lets just hope that i get some spare time to shape the panel properly, this type of shape takes time to replicate properly, will be updating soon with some real update.
