AOA, I am a new member of this forum and after searching on the internet for a really long time, I thought that I should ask other Dayz users about the subject issue. The recommended spark plugs by Nissan for Dayz B21W 3B20 are NGK ILKR6K8 (which are now discontinued), I have been using ILKR7K8 which is available in Karachi and I'm sure most users are also using these as well, the problem is that the heat range of the oem is 6 and the heat range for the ones we are installing is 7, which according to Nissan support is not bad for the engine but " it will cause your engine to hard start when cold" , recently I found that the recommended plugs for Mira are ILKR6F11, which match the original heat range for Dayz but the spark plug gap is 0.3 mm more, I was wondering what plugs other users are installing or facing any issues and if they can help me in this matter, I have had this car for over 4 years now, but just wanted to know if heat range of 6 which I found for Mira is close to the oem may be installed or should I still keep using ILKR7K8? not having any issues that I can tell but I have read that the correct heat range does matter.
Any help or positive feedback would be helpful and appreciated for everyone, thanks a lot in advance.
