My experience with timing advance processor

Yesterday i have installed a Timing advance processor usually called advancer in my toyota corolla 2000 model carburator engine.it gives me amazing result the cars pick up is now almost 40% better now from what it was with out the advancer.
Top speed is also improved previously i can only touch 125 km/h but now i got 145km/h.

the brand of advancer is AEB.

How does an advancer work in a non-EFI engine? Isn't the advancement done manually in carburetor based engines?

As far as i know the advancer adjusts the spark timing for CNG and petrol so switching between the two fuels shouldn't cause a problem.

Maybe @logas can explain.

Dear Raza.

this advancer works with the rpm of the ditributor means when we accelrate rpm of distributor also increses and advancer start its working with increasing rpm

I'm still confused about the manual advancement i.e. turning the screw. Does the advancer do it mechanically is response to the throttle?

I have a Cuore running on petrol and with the expected fuel prices after 15th Nov, I may have to switch to CNG eventually.

bro there will be some mistake, i dont think that gona help in non-efi cars,

eleborate , how u connect the advancer to ur carby corolla, wat are the connection inputs to adv ......?

As you hv asked me to comment here, I think I hv already explained that there are about 12 to 15 types of Timming Advance Processors (TAP) available, distributor type TAP also used by Suzuki in Mehran and Cultus, carburetor or throtle body has nothing to do with timing, beside the distributor, single coil, double coil (4 plugs but 2 coils,like Baleno) and crank sensor advancer are more common types.

dear it cost me Rs 2000/- its not new originally it comes with cultus of old carburator version.

Well , the cost of installation of cng will increase substantially after 15th Nov or whenever there is a increase in petrol price which is expected.
