Yesterday I went to Saeed Engineering works (Gawalpindi) for my corolla 2009 steering cross issue. I used American lock in steering cross. That steering cross joint was worn out because of my negligence. There was a play in that joint and it gave tak tak sound on bumpy roads.
When I went there to discuss, their customer trapper officer who looks like a pehalwan name billa with big mustache welcome me with a very sharp eyes.
First he listen my story and then he asked me about my car and its model. He said your car steering cross is out of order now and you have to replace it with a new one. Complete steering cross set will cost you Rs 9500 (japani) and Rs 4500 for Chinese made and it will take more than 4 days to get this from indus motors khi (not available in market) but we can arrange a kabli for you and it will cost you Rs 6000. He gave estimate of Rs 6500.

That pehalwan got some excellent bluffing skills. He was very blunt and he made my mind in a single minute for replacement. He ordered his subordinate to open steering cross. It was a lunch time and his subordinate took 10 minutes and when he came back towards my car at that time I was talking to my friend on cell phone and I discuss my car steering cross problem with him.
My friend informed me that he was also facing same problem last year and he gave them Rs 300 as a service charges and they replace only steering cross joint of his 2007 model corolla.
After that I instructed there worker to just opened steering cross and gave it to me for inspection. I discussed this steering cross with another mechanic and then I went to kiyani autos to buy a Toyo universal joint size 1640 (Rs 475) and bring steering cross to Mr billa and order him to replace old joint with new one in-front of me. He smile for a while, not even felt of a guilt and gave steering cross with joint to his worker for a joint replacement.
One thing I have to mention that there work was very satisfying, they have all kind of electronic tools and skilled work force.
I mention this incident because there are so many pakwheelers who used to go to Saeed brothers and charge heavily because of there innocence and lack of knowledge and last but not the least please beware of this Pehalwan name Billa Ustaad!!!
