My brand new honda cd 70 2018 top speed is 80 but i was expecting 100!

my motorcycle running is 600km while i started to do this...i seen on YouTube that peoples are riding cd 70 2018 on 97km/h speed and according to wikipedia,it should go to 97km/h but in my case,it does not cross 80km/h..any instruction or guide!

I think 80 kmph is quite enough. But if you're really determined maybe going down a slope should help you reach 100.

It's a tiny 70cc engine and the top speed shouldn't actually matter. But since you have asked top speed is around 85 because the engine has a very small displacement and it's very old tech. T the video with people riding at 100kph in a cd70 are because the Speedo meter needles are always inaccurate. They will be riding at 100kph if a gps app shows 100.
I'd recommend however to always ride safe and definitely not at 100 or even 80 on a cd70 because the tires hardly grip the road at these speeds and it isn't safe, also always wear protective great such as helmets and proper riding gloves.

You must’ve bought the bike keeping in mind the fuel economy. Kindly stick to that and ride safely. These bikes are not meant for such speeds. The thin tyres would have very low grip and in case of emergency braking, it can be fatal. Ride safe and use helmet.

The thing is sweetheart; a CD70 isn't a hyperbike like The Hayabusa or ZX14R or a superbike like The R1.

It's not even a supersport like The R6 or ZX6R.

In fact, it's not even a sport bike like The Ninja 400 or Honda CBR500R.

Honda CD70... In case you haven't noticed already; is an;

ULTRA SMALL DISPLACEMENT COMMUTER MOTORCYCLE.

So, I'd suggest you to start treating her like one.

80 is enough yaar for a 70cc bike. Going beyond is dangerous on such a small bike. It's not a car or a heavy bike.

CD 70 is not for racing, and good average speed is 40 to 60 kmph. Anything above tht is dangerous for small frame and ordinary brakes.
Remember speed costs money.

Honda CD 70 with 72cc displacement can't go above 90 max......that is after proper run in and using old 82 model type silencer.......the Chondas with 78cc displacement go 95-97 kmph max.....I personally feel that cd70 after 80kmph......it has zero grip

No yr honda 70cc is such a slpw bike and cannot carry weight i have my hi speed 70cc 2007 model its top speed is 110kmph i have also checked its mermter with car it is full correct.

A 70cc will not cross 100km/h. even 80km/h is too much for this small little thing. you are checking on mermter, next time check on speedometer.

Worry more about your own demise than your bike reaching 100km, you are putting yourself and others at risk what if some innocent person gets hit and gets injured while you face life of death situation?
