Mushkpuri Peak - One day hiking from Islamabad August 2020

We planned tp do a one day tour to mushkpuri from Islamabad on Saturday. Start journey from Islamabad Chak Shahzad at 8:45am. This was a family trip. we are five people on car me, wife and my three son. We reached murree through express way at 10:00. We did light breakfast at murree and purchased some fruits for mushkpuri

We reached Dunga gali at 12:00. There was lot of rush at Barian and recommended to cross Barian as early as possible.

From Dunga Gali, drive up to parking before start of Mushkpuri Treck

For ease of new comers, I have prepared guide map. Don't park your vehicle at Dunga gali bazar and walk till treck gate.

We started trek at 13:00, we borrowed walking sticks, highly recommended
First 30 minutes hike is very tough because of steep hike. You must take small steps and little brakes to manage your heart beat.

after 30 minutes, trek will be less steep and enjoyable. Mushkpuri trek is most beautiful trek from lalazar and dunga gali. My recommendation is dunga gali is easy for first time,.

We reached Mushkpuri at 15:00 .. We forgot all difficulties after reaching
