My cousin bought an evo 4months back, after 5000 km the check engine lite got on....the Mitsubishi company in oman couldnt figure out y....gave it for check 10 times, all they used to do was restart the ecu so after a day or two the lite used to get turned on again....well then at 10,000 km the catalytic converter broke.... the turbo stopped workin cuz the actuator wouldnt open.
I think the air/fuel mixture ratio wasnt set maybe thats y the unburned fuel melted the catalyst....is this the reason???
i took the car n got the catalyst removed...
now the turbo is also working fine...
Car is Stock....just added a HKS Super sequential Blow-off Vavle (SSQV)

With the evo`s stock ECU i cant go more than 1.3bar boost, (after installin the boost controller) so can any1
tell me which ECU to go for??? i was thinkin of the Ralliart ECU w/out restrictions....
I need some ideas for easy HP....
