I am getting the code P0130 which indicates an O2 sensor 1 malfunction. This is the O2 sensor located before the CAT. The car does not run very well, and it is consuming more fuel. With the AC on, it barely moves, so I have to keep the AC off. My mechanic says O2 sensor 1 is bad. I am not too sure. He blames it on poor fuel quality caused while running the car on petrol without mixing hi-octane.

Although I try to fill up with hi-octane partially when I refuel. But these days hi-octane supply is very erratic and it is rarely available. If anyone has faced a similar problem do share your experience about how it can be fixed.

Connected it to an ELM327 OBD 2 scanner. I am not getting any data on the 02 sensors in torque app. Also tried obd doctor app, which seems to getting data from the Bank 1 O2 sensor. It's consistently above 0.9V and not cycling between 0.2 to 0.7V like it normally should which indicates a rich fuel mixture. I will try with a different app today to reconfirm the findings. At this point, it is difficult to rule out anything.
