please advise which car would be good and affordable as far as maintainance is concern along with drive and road clearance between Mercedes Benz C Class C180 2002 Vs Toyota Camry 2008.

My vote is for Camry.

keeping mercerdez in PK is super expensive. Like Shaadi ka Laddu. Ofcoarse you enjoy but maintenance is very expensive

Among the above two options camry is better for long term use due certain factors; lower parts prices, less maintenance, and the Toyota badge. But its resale is poor in comparison to Mercedes.
If I were you, I would have gone for the Crown as adviced by a respected member. It is because Crown is such a beautiful car that it almost never breaks. Had kept 1994 Crown for 3 years in 2LTE and I never had to take it to a workshop. Just made sure that the car required no suspension and engine work. It is quite a solid vehicle. In short, it is S-class wrapped in a Toyota badge that brings reliability and durability to it. And fuel average of Crown and Camry are going to be same.
As far as Mercedes is concerned, its maintainence is quite costly, and sometimes you feel like you are getting blackmailed when you’re buying its parts. Buying such an old Mercedes is not recommended at all.

new parts for camry are in same price range as of c class. just that we are more familiar with toyota, icould be the main reason for favoring camry.

Speaking of crown, I have to show this to the crown expert ... This was a 2003 crown converted into a Rolls Royce, lol !! I couldn't snap a proper picture as the car was on its way, but I'm sure it will be back & when it does - I'll take proper pics - if i came across it .... Spotted in montgomery road, @ 11 PM.

Had spotted this one as well. It was looking way more majestic than it is looking in the image. Cannot decide if it is good or bad to convert these Crowns into Rolls-Royce but now it has become favourite sports of our people.

I’ve seen couple of insane level modifications in older models of Crowns as well.
Making those modifications catches lots of eyes on road. But technically it makes re-sale of the vehicle as minus zero.
One 94 model Crown converted into Rolls Royce was on sales for more than 2 years. And it was not sold as far as I speak with owner last time.

Sir when extending the bodies upto such great lengths, the support beams beneath body (which are usually weld) are important. Otherwise front wheels will go south-west and rear wheels will go north-west and car will be heading towards east

Extended drive shaft set up is also direly necessary because such vehicles cannot be driven on FWD set up.

And such long shaft is not available in PK. So need to support with at-least 2 celling bearing (in desi language they call it Chatt Walay Bearing. Chatt boly to Roof). So technically it needs 3 drive shaft coupled together. And with such set up its impossible to drive the car at higher speeds even 80 km/h. And crossing road bumps and pot holes in PK can be another challenge for such vehicles since it will raise many questions on their stability.

Not only just eyes, I tried running after the car for some pictures, lol. I really wanted to take some pictures. Also, @ 5 AM I saw a really good pajero in montgomery road. Maintained & neat n clean.

Yea, I can't imagine anyone buying this. Why would they ? People would rather buy a mehran, hell ! It would be much more reliable & safe.

Quite interesting information. But believe me I am not even a fan of minor modification. Instead I try to keep my vehicles bone stock. Don’t know how people have guts to make such modifications.

Vehicles with OEM specs are always valuable and sold on priority.

Recently a friend bought 2023 Yaris and ran only 6K so far. Now he see the new model (facelift) of Yaris and now he wants to make his Yaris as facelift also.

I told him plz don’t play with its originality. But he is quite firm to convert 2023 model Yaris to 2024 model new shape (which is facelift front bumper and slightly changed lights). 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's okay, as long as it is done properly. Some kits are directly imported from china, which require no cutting, etc etc ... Take the Haval H6 and HEV as an example. Some people came into my shop for an infinity style modification for the 1.5 front bumper, meaning they wanted to facelift their 1.5 front bumper to the HEV front bumper ~ which we call the infinity style. Needless to say, these types of modifications are also done in china & other countries .

Some ppl in pk want to enjoy a upgraded car at a lower cost & they don't care about the originality. Everyone has their own tastes & opinions, you can't force them to agree with you. The best you can do is tell them the pros n cons, and that's that. The rest of decision depends on them.

But yea, still, OEM is always the way to go ~ for me atleast. Again, everyone has a different opinion & taste ~ It's best respect his/her opinion and move on.
