It's okay, as long as it is done properly. Some kits are directly imported from china, which require no cutting, etc etc ... Take the Haval H6 and HEV as an example. Some people came into my shop for an infinity style modification for the 1.5 front bumper, meaning they wanted to facelift their 1.5 front bumper to the HEV front bumper ~ which we call the infinity style.
Needless to say, these types of modifications are also done in china & other countries .
Some ppl in pk want to enjoy a upgraded car at a lower cost & they don't care about the originality. Everyone has their own tastes & opinions, you can't force them to agree with you. The best you can do is tell them the pros n cons, and that's that. The rest of decision depends on them.
But yea, still, OEM is always the way to go ~ for me atleast. Again, everyone has a different opinion & taste ~ It's best respect his/her opinion and move on.
