so he had a standalone ECU, EGS, gearstick, EIS, key, and GWM (if later model - MBD2) from an S class - and it had no problem with the missing input from the ABS/ESP module? or he also installed the ESP module along with the steering input yaw sensor, body roll sensor, G sensor, wheel speed sensors?
and when he installed all that - the GWM/EIS (depending on type) had no issues seeing a dead K-bus network?
sounds like a fairy tale
unless he installed the old M119 with a haltech/motec along with the 722.5 from a very early R129 - (thats a mechanical swap) - but why would anyone do that into an olds from 1968.
