got busy on sunday and did both my cars even though it was hot and was not a good idea to go about doing it alone !
the corolla was first which got the meguiars gold class wax which is my all time favourite and does an outstanding gloss on black paint.
the lancer was second which got the meguiars mirror glaze wax #26, I got a couple of bottles from fellow pakwheeler Aus1.
in my opinion both did a great job although the lancer did gloss well, i owe it to its pearl colour as opposed to corollas flat black.
all in all both wax are great and are meant for Black colours.
I did the civic the next day with the meguiars #26, it did shine well but since its a lighter shade (medium silver) it did not gloss although the pearl came up on top which looks great.

bhai jan people who own old cars can tell the major difference, on really old paints gc sometimes is hard to spread evenly but number 26 is much easier to spread or to buff. secondly gc contains cleaners, thats why when you apply them on old single stage paints the application pad removes paint, number 26 does not contain these cleaners so paint does not get ragra apart from improper use of application pad. and due to the lack of cleaners long term use of number 26 gives great depth as layers are deposited. over previous layers of wax, in gc some of the previous layer of wax is removed by it's cleaners

Im pretty sure gold class is non abrasive though i might be wrong. The only reason that it offers swirl removal is because its not a pure carnauba. It also has some polymers which is responsible for its superior swirl removal properties( technically its wrong since it only covers/fills the swirls like a glaze).

You would get a better comparison if you apply the wax to the same panel of the same car. I still feel that the car would get much better result with proper treatment i.e a good clay treatment and some swirl correction. The lancer typically shows swirls since i feel it has a softer paint. In any case its a job well done and Im glad you like the product !

@Aus1: this is not the best job i've done...the lancer needs a clay bar treatment for sure as it has swirl marks courtesy of my driver washing it everyday.
but i like both the waxes and will surely recommend #26 as its very easy to apply and gives an outstanding result.
