Hi brothers, I need some serious info and advise,
How mich capital required to setup a medical store in rented shop?(Let's say rent is 25K)
Annd how much profitable this business is? I mean how much per month an averge medical store can earn?
No worries of getting license(I have a person who can arrange for that)
But I m low in capital, so want info

o bhayya u understood it wrong, obviously a pharmacist will be hired, moreover , pharmacy dont provide medicine by themselves, they give as per prescription, what ever doctor has written, even if its drugs/churs.

Get a job in a drug store , Work there for 2 or 3 years and gain experince, then think about opening business, Ye nhi ka suba ko utaee ans say to your self I want to open a drug store, Why are you so interested in drug store ? buwahaha i salute ur mentality... u think a pharmacist cannt prescribe medicines by himself he knows nothing abt diseases :-# i must zip up my mouth on it bt for ur info m student of last year of pharmacy have my own Pharmacy Alhamdullilah and it is a real time responsibility ONLY IF U DO CARE ABT UR PATIENTS...A pharmacist has more command over medicines, pharmacolgy,cognosy and dosage regimens than any doctor out there.....Khair yeah it is profittable bussiness.. u get around 10-15% on international medications and upto 30% or more on local promotion medications..... bt SAFETY IS 1st...... i dont think a QUALIFIED PHARMACIST will like to work with u under 15000 salary only if he is in real need of money.... rest cannt xplain the difference in standard of local and foreign pharmacies coz it will b a looooooong looooooong discussion... cheers

medical store has nothing to do with the pateint..they are just sitting to serve the customer's with medicine...nd yeah pharmacist are there on d shop to deal with patients who have viral infection etc.they suggest medicine if the patient is nt having any srs prblm..if its smthng srs they'll prefer to go to doctor

Mashallah we are serving our nation from last 50+ yrs widout even closing our medical stores..in our buissness history benazir's death made us close our pharmacies for a day.

he is absolutely right you dont need a degree but you need a pharmacist to operate a business (reading prescriptions and handing over the medicines to customers/patients)
i was also in the raw material indenting business till 2004 and then left due to restrictions (only manufacturers can import not the individual person) glad to see you are helping him otherwise for me i was in a real trouble to find contacts for at least initial 8 months .

when mentioning the profit of pharmacy there are 80% medicines of multi national companies
which only offer 15% of profit to retailers who then offer 10% of discount to its customers.

therefor you get only 5% profit of total from which u have to manage out ur xpances ur electricity bills, salaries, then the remaining is ur profit

so its to hard to survive in this low profit today but chain holders can only survive cause if they dont get any profit from 1 branch the other branch can pay u a good profit

advice: if ur a new comer in this business then prefer looking for some other profitable business which even wont be life saving

addition to above if a product price is 5 bucks and you order product of 100 bucks instead of going in profit calculation they will send you the product of 115 bucks which is another marketing tool to force retailer to sell their product more to earn the 15% profit and in return they will invoice you for only 100 bucks.

Pharmacy is good business but you need to have a good capital and location to get handsome money. Many pharmacies have turned into Super Store. If you are able to get on list of some institute than you are good to go. Lea300 seems to be right person for you to guide you more. My Mamoon Owns a Pharmaceutical Industry with name of Lowitt Pharma. According to him all the profit is taken by the middle man and its really hard to survive in this field because of the non human practices by individuals
