Mazda rx8 2jz-ge swapped mileage/economy

Aoa.
I have a mazda rx8 2jz-ge swapped. the car is with a clean swap and electrical wiring was also done professionally from a well reputed electrician.
I'm having trouble with the car's mileage, recently the car is delivering a mileage of 4-6 kmpl with a light foot.
Everything else is okay, no problems with power or anything, engine is water dropping with optimal compression.
The car has a MAF sensor recently serviced and I have also installed an aftermarket FPR to ensure the fules regulation.

I was advised to install the oxygen sensor back that it will help in mileage since it was taken out while the exhaust was straight piped...

Would be grateful and open to suggestions

Out of curiosity, how do your car runs? Every one says that engine swap ruin RX8 wanted to hear your side of the story as you own one.

Engine is water throwing and has optimal combustion.
The purpose of this swap was primarily donuts and secondary purpose was giving it straight runs.
I've heard that 2jz swap is a fail but i didn't feel it....everythings fine and car runs great 🤷‍♂️

Car was running rich previously thats why i installed aftermarket fpr...i have O2 sensor purchased but can't get it installed due to lockdown...
