maybach has got some options for interior and exterior finishes and trust me it surpasses rolls royce in every aspect and most importantly in luxury. and though top gear guys are really biased towards british cars (that includes rolls royce too), even they admitted that maybach is the mother of all limousines and the "business jet on the wheels." maybach 62s is 6.165 meters in length (20.22 foot) compared to phantom which is 5.834 meters in length and even it's extended limo is 6.084 meters long and not to forget that the extended limo costs a 30k pounds more than the standard version. rolls royce phantom has 67499cc V12 petrol engine producing 453 bhp and 720 Nm torque with 0-100 km in 5.9 seconds where as maybach's specs are: 612-HP twin-turbo V12, 300km/h (186.411 miles/hour), 1026 N·m of torque and from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. luxury features of maybach are: fully-reclining rear seats, Maybach 4 zone climate control, tinted, infrared-reflecting laminated glass all round, AirMATIC Dual control air suspension, display instruments in rear roof liner (showing speed, time and outside temperature), folding rear tables (left and right), BOSE® Surround Everywhere™ Sound System and a refrigerator compartment.[1] The Maybach 62 also includes an array of additional features such as Cosckpit Management and Navigation System (COMAND)-includes DVD navigation, CD changer in rear seats, DVD players and TV tuners front and rear, 2 rear LCD TV screens inc remote control and two sets of hesdphones, automatic closing doors, panoramic glass sun-roof. rolls royce doesn't even have reclining rear seats and has just two LCD screens and 6 DVD changer. see for yourself what's luxury and speed combined into one.
