Max tyre size for new Corolla XLI

hi buddies, 1 of my pal got a new XLI 2007 and got 15" rims, he wants to put the tyres as big as possible but also doesn't want to have any trouble while driving, so any idea what can be the max tyre size for a 15" rim? replies would b really appreciated

yaar me na abi kal apni gli me lagwaya han 15"rim or us me tyre 205/60R lagwaya han in tyre me koi problem nahin hai or bilkul theek chal rahay han or koi awaz b nahin a rahi ab us ki breaks b theek ho gaye han

well, it depends on the rim width, which i guess will be 6' or 6.5' for the FF rims.

i am also using 205/60/15.they r perfectly good.brakes and grip are now good.

sorry im awaking this thread aftear almost 1.5 years.so what i wanted to ask is how is ur car suspension now?wht is the average u getting after installing these tyres.your advice would be highly appreciated as im also thinking to get new tyres for my 08 xli.

mind you i have got the old shape xli.so pls share ur experience.does these tyres touches the body of ur car while turning?

1300cc engine with huge body shell to carry plus u add 205tyre size , it will hardly move , stick to stock configuration. 185 is better

the maximum size for yur car recomended is 215-60r15 other then this is 205-65r15 they both r perfect size for yur nex corrolla

215/55-15 or 205/60-15 are recommended sizes in max.dont go for 205/65-15.
