Manual to auto transmission?

I have Honda civic 2008 oriel manual transmission, i was wondering if i could convert it to auto trans i have been planning to sell myne and buy auto now i guess i wont find as clean ride as myne so what do you guys suggest and if i do shall Honda classic be my option, how much will it cost me and what about the performance i mean will it be the same as other auto ones?

it is possible..the time and money involved..it would be easier to sell urs and buy an auto..

it is possible and will cost you too much ,and all those alterations ,best is it to sell your car the money you were going to put in getting auto transmision use it to find an geniune auto , and i think converting an auto to manual is the possible never heaard of a manual being converted into an auto, experts here may help u in right direction

Yes it is possible but finding an auto transmission and its ECU wud be hard.

It wont be clean and trouble-free after the swap. Sell it and look for a clean auto tranny Civic. I'm sure you can find one.

actually the fun starts when the transmission needs servicing or some work
I drove an Auto 8th gen (non oriel) and the car was hesitating when shifting from 2nd to 3rd and gave a jerk too
although the car was a rental replacement with a little over 100k km on the ODO and my 211k driven 18 year old Corona shifts better

Dont even try it, waste of time and money.

Buy a auto.

it would be better to sell it and buy a similar condition Prosmatec but make sure the trans is in good nick and ATF change was done on time

It was a replacement (Rental) because our car (Company provided) was sent for maintenance
Honda A/T are complicated and hard to fix because you have to take the entire transmission apart where as on a Toyota it is relatively easy to do so

I asked you the price because the problem you are saying could be because of plugs. Yes plugs have to be replaces at 100k.
Yes agree, Honda maintenance is expensive too.

dude the Civic wasnt ours okay ! Rent ki thi !
secondly it was not because of the spark plugs the car only gave problem while shifting from 2 to 3 it and other than that the car was running smoothly

The surety to that the plugs was not messed clearly shows your hate towards honda.

FYI im a Honda fan and have a 04 City
But Honda Makes pretty complicated cars with tiny engine bays

And completely stupid automatic transmissions.

In normal condition they shift silly and tend to heat up, their lockup clutch in the TC also shudders for no reason at all.

in servicing you are forced to disassemble the entire unit because some idiot ullu ka pathaa at Honda though it would be sweet to make the design with no serviceable sump.
