Liqui moly oil change interval

I am using liqui moly touring high tech 15w-40 (link given below) in my honda city 2005 since 2009 (4 years). The shopkeeper told me to change it after 10000 km. When i went to him after 10,000 km he checked the oil and said it will go for another 1500 km. so total 11500 km.
I am extremelty satisfied with this oil. My car gives 160kms mileage on CNG one cylinder. engine is smooth. car is driven around 1 lac kms.
I have read forums here which say change oil by max 7500 km.
Can an expert tell me is 10,000 km oil change interval safe?

No way. First of all even Synthetics in Pakistan should not be used for that long due to the dust. If you want to extend the interval you should use a premium quality filter or change the oil filter halfway. And the oil you are talking about is mineral based. You should not use it more than 4000-6000 km.

Brother your fingers are best for checking engine oil if its viscous to touch you can use it synthetics can last as long as 15,000 km easily but also check your oil filter if its in good condition.

My 96 Civic has been on Liqui moly MOS2 10w40 for the last 7 years, the engine has done over 250,000km. I change the oil after 7000kms, with one filter change at 3500km and the other at 7000km.
