has anyone used this in a 660cc car? what were the changes?
I was advised to used Fuel system cleaner by LM, I tired but it had literally no affect, in fact got 2km/l less

A great product indeed... This plus Liqui Moly Mos2 10w-40 in my swapped car run great...

The car was very smooth... Can't say about fuel average as my car was already doing about 14-15 and still the same...

It's peace of mind since Kabuli engines require extra care...

P.S: 2 years and still going strong... (The engine ofcourse, poured Ceratec 8K km ago)...

The product label says that it is sufficient for 5 Liters or oil. I only have 2.5 Liters in my car. So is there anybody who would like to share a bottle with me. PM me if you are in Lahore and willing. Thanks

I have not used ceratec but used Liqui moly engine flush, it didn't do much to my car as it had timely oil changes and was only 55k driven but i think one should use these after 100k km or the engines which have sludge

i have prius 2012 model.
its driven till 70k right now.
can i use that Ceratec in my Hybrid engine?
did any 1 use it in prius engine?

Dear,

if you do an oil change and CERA TEC is within the used engine oil, the solid particles of CERA TEC will flush out with the used motor oil. If you than add the new motor oil without CERA TEC, the engine will have not this wear protection, because the necessary solid particles are missing.

AOA,

after reading all the comments, i would like to use this product for my car but i have following questions:

1- can it be used in Carby Mehran 05 model? since 2015 end, the car is driven on petrol only n tank has been removed. (engine was overhauled in Apr '16)

2- what is the current price and reliable shop to get this product in Lahore?

3- should i flush the engine before pouring it or not? also in what ratio must this product be poured in engine?

Recommended ok is 10W40

But there is no harm is using oil beyond rcommended grades.
It will be harmful if I use something between 10w40 like 5W20 or 20W50

Hi Guys,
Should I also try it out? I've got city IDSI Manual 2006. Done 135k on odo and currently I'm using Havoline 20w50.
I need to know if it is okay to try it with my next oil change, keeping Havoline and adding Ceratec?

You definitely should. You may want to use a less viscous oil for better results. Least viscous I can use as per manual in 13, City in Karachi is 5W-30. Less viscous the oil, less resistance engine faces in movement resulting in better economy. Another advantage is that oil pump can pump it relatively free to all parts and because of less viscosity, it is easier to get into hard to reach spaces in engine. Only Con is that you'll engine will sound more compared to sound when using 20W-50.
About using thinner oil in older engines, even in the desert regions, Toyota recommends OW-20 oil for most economy sedans, irrespective of mileage of cars.

Just for testing purpose actually.
Engine is not making any problems. Actually when i brought it a few months back, the oil shop as well as my mechanic recommended 20w50 - he said after 100k, its better to shift to a bit viscous grade.
Havoline is going good, i was just curious can Havoline go with ceratec? Plus does ceratec increase the viscosity?
