@cloud100
good idea yaar. actually m planning to sell the woofer box. aluminum foil wont be a good choice though, i want reflections.
@sd
i installed the lights myself bro.
@haris001
the lights were made by me. the cost varies depending on the number of LEDs you use plus how you hook em up with resistors etc. the whole kit cost me less than 1000 rs.
LED bulbs are 100 for 250 (special discount price) around 150-170 were used.
resistors i guess were for 10-15 rs (220 ohms resistors were used. you can use 110 as well but the lights will burn out after a few weeks)
PCB strips were for around 20 rs each. 5 were used. 2 on each side and one for back
plastic concealed wiring ducts rs 70 per 10 feet
hot glue sticks to seal the ducts.. rs 15 per stick, use liberally.
UHU sticks... i think 15 or 25 rs per stick. use liberally
on off buttons were bought from college road rwp for 15-20 each. the ones i found were a good fit width wise in the panel on the car next to the hand brake.
Elbow grease and sweat were put in by me... soldering 150 or so LEDs and around 50 resistors and then drilling holes in the duct at correct place and the pressing em in and then sealing the thing... took me two days to complete it. oh and did i mention i had to file the head of each LED so that it wont give a spot. the diffuse light type LEDs were not available at that time.
installation was very simple. no need to drill holes in the car body. just use 2-3 tubes of UHU to stick it. thats what i have used and boy does it stick like anything.
i have some strips made that were installed previously. will post pics for better understanding
