Larger Intercooler + Silicone hoses/ Pipes

I need a larger than stock intercooler for my Defender 110. Also need all related silicone hoses + pipes etc.

Are these available any where in Pak? Dubai ? USA?

Racer..many thanks for the links, I am in touch with these companies. Notice that they are all UK based, I am at this point seeking USA or DUbai based company.

Also can you share your experience on having double shocks? I am seriously thinking of having twin shocks mounted on both front and rear. Do you have any experience in this regards?

No epxerience on dual shocks but me Sameer did see one in the Autoshow on a Dakar rally prepared vehicle. What would you like to know ?

I wanted to know how the set up works. I have been told that one set of shocks work as "primary" shocks and the second as "secondry". Some one else told me that the load is divided equally. So I am not sure how the shocks are mounted and how the load is divided.

Right now I have ARB Emu set up, should the second set of shocks also be same as what I have ? or can I go with something more tough like this

The setup I saw had a equally divided load type set up. If it is a Primary/ scecondary type setup they should be on different height controls.

Hi Racer,

Did you up load two or one pic? I can only see one, the equal load pic.

Anyway, I have written to ARB and will call them tomorrow and find out what they suggest in regards to twin shock mount.

I am ok with both set up, equal or unequal. In fact given that my current shocks are fairly soft, it maybe better if I go for more of the same, rather than introduce hard shocks on the suspension, as that may result in the hard shocks doing all the work.

Racer..the primary/ secondry set up looks complicated.
I will visit Khan Motors tomorrow and ask them if they have done this kind of work on any 4x4.

Regarding using two different shocks, I also would not advise it as it make one work harder then the other, as you mentioned.

Racer.. I think equally divided load set up is what I will go for...but first need to find shock mounts that can accmodate two shocks..
