A well wanted service is being introduced by PTA in collaboration with all companies. Now you can know the amount of connections issued against your CNIC.

Simply write your CNIC (without dashes) and send it to 668

For instance

Write 3749127299334 and send it to 668.

You will get a reply with number of connections issued against this CNIC for 6 companies (

Mobilink

Warid

Zong

Telenor

, SCO and

Ufone

^^ SCO is Special Communications Oganization.. There is a use of it as people will knw if there are connections activated under there names and they shud get them terminated ASAP . as under terrorist law mobile sim being used for commnication holds the person partly resposible and liable for an imediate arrest and invetigation whos name is registered against the sim involved..

There is another service you guys shud check out.. send any CNIC number excludin the (-) to 7000 and you will get the name n father name of the person as registered with NADRA against the cnic number.. gud to verify a CNIC ne where any time..

Well ive got the reply immediately

Mobilink: 8, SCO: 0, Telenor: 0, Ufone: 2, Warid: 1, Zong: 0
Total: 11

Now the info is correct as i've 2 ufone and 1 warid but i really don't have more than 1 mobilinks but they are showing 8 of them :S :S

data however is wrong. agree with 5 warid, 2 moblink, 1 zong.. but disagree with ufone as ive never had one..... i guess i need to contact ufone...
