Kkh or naran road

Hi i am going to astore with in few days, in honda city 2010 good condition, first i chose kkh road but then i saw on thread some was complaining about the contion of road, babusar is not an option.
Can any one update me about recent condition of kkh road, can i still take this road without damaging my car

i know 3 routes of astore but you can not visit astore on your car beacuse road conditions are not good, i would advise to use your car to reach naran and from there hire a jeep.

1. Naran - Babusar - Chillas
2. Manshra - Besham - Chillas
3. M1- Mardan- mingora - Besham- Chillas (longest)

i will suggest you to go from KKH. Babusar is not a good option for Sedan cars.

I returned from astore just before ramazan. Road is under construction after thakot till besham. Then from besham to patan in bad condition. Thereafter condition is manageable. Expect some bad patches between kkh and astore though. Best route is kkh.

AOA we go to gilgit from kkh but return from babusar pass on 08-08-14 ( toyota vitz 1.3 with body lifted by rear spring replaced )
kkh is long but safe for cars but babusar si challenge chilass to babusar top road is carpeted with 3 bridges under constriction but after crossing top roar condition getting worse after every kilometer til lolosar lake. note dew to security road close after 5pm .
my recommendation is go from kkh and return from babusar if u have good driving experience
