i suggest call up motorway & NHA for current information enroute for Traffic, Fuel & road conditions. Rains also started and chaos is reported out there, am watching TV and every news channel is reporting chaotic traffic across Northern Areas, Kashmir, Murree, Swat Kaghan Naran & way up. Fuel shortage is shared by the people. Plus the Hotels, instead of business they are doing extortion Rs. 3500 room is offered at 12000 per night min 3 nights. 15000 for 1 night pay upfront.

• Kindly check weather report before leaving As reports are of Rain and sliding
• the road after karen is bit muddy so if rain there is problem
• The Arang Kel is wonderful place BUT BUT - it is reachable after 2 km hike on mountain - and its quite hard - local says it is 1 to 1 1/2 hours BUT actually its 4 hours with Family - need one two porters to carry luggage and lot of water aloso
• The only stayable place is MUSK DARE resort - have few rooms very good food and service but pre - booking may be required
• Mobile service does not work there
