something of the same sort happened in front of NIC Bldg (opposite the Christian Graveyard)... saw the whole huge a** board fall down on a road packed with cars... dunno about the casualties, but i wuz amongst the lucky few whu got the chance n immediately turned their cars 2 come back on shahrah-e-faisal (altho i wuz stranded there for a gud 5 hours, b4 i got home)...

Ban large billboards, they are a menace. when will we learn? I am glad the Chief Justice is calling for an inquiry; it will, for a change, give the MQM govt something constructive to do.

The tragedy is sad, may the departed person get Maghfirat, Ameen.

The other thing that these pictures show, and its is a huge surprise, is that Cars in traffic are in Straight Line. Does the bad weather had something to do with it. I mean, I can not believe this picture is from Pakistan, People are suppose to drive like idiots there, but they are actually in traffic like the Civilized People, VERY RARE in Pakistan / India, specially in a traffic jam situation.

UNBELIEVABLE.... but a good surprise...

datzburier, they are in straight lines but there is one person (visible in picture) who is trying to change lanes in this condition, and there will also be other people at the back who were probably doing the same thing.
