Definitely not worth it. It's kind of a downgrade rather than an upgrade if you shift from Vezel to BR-V.
The best way to use Vezel in hilly areas is to use it without Eco Mode so that it stays on its engine power more often rather than running on EV battery, and it's even better to use Sports Mode and do the manual shifting using the paddle shifters and try not to push it harder, because yes, if you push it harder, then it's transmission oil tends to get hotter and you'll have to switch off your Vezel and wait for the transmission oil to cool down before proceeding.
In addition to this, make sure to check the transmission oil if it needs changing and even keep a check on the actuator fluid before planning any such trip to be on the safe side.
