Is Honda Civic RS Turbo worth it?

Salam pakwheelers, I currently own a Honda Civic 1.8 oriel 2017 model. I wanted to upgrade to the new turbo variant but was curious as to whether it's worth the extra 17 lac rupees or not. The cars exterior and interior is almost the same and I feel the large amount required to upgrade is hard to justify. What would you all suggest? Should I buy it? Or should I try looking for a low mileage used one (pre facelift)? Or should I just wait for KIA and Hyundai's response to the RS Turbo. Love the overall drive and feel of my current car but wanted more power which is why I'm leaning towards the Civic Turbo. Thank you.

I currently own a 2016 Civic Turbo and was thinking of upgrading to the new Turbo RS as well; however, I feel that the new Corolla 1.8 X auto is a better car overall. The Turbo RS doesn't have any modern features when comparing it to the 2016 model whereas the Corolla comes with features which you rarely find on most post-2012 E Classes. If you are looking for a pre-facelift Turbo, I'd suggest keeping the 1.8 oriel since they are practically identical; I've owned a 1.8 oriel for a brief period and found no apparent differences.
I cannot comment on Kia or Hyundai since they would have little to no aftermarket support in the case you run into an issue whilst in a distant village/city. Sticking to Honda/Toyota is the best imo

It is a nice upgrade as civic turbo is much better then 1.8 in performance and has some morel features like 17 inch rims and black interior etc but the difference is still quite a lot it’s your choice go and examine it yourself if you like it you should go with I myself own turbo rs and came from a grande and I must say it’s an absolute beast on the road

Well i own a 2017 1.8 as well and i once though to go for a turbo but i don't really trust the models which were discontinued, and turbo rs costs a lot and the only difference is the engine and nothing else.
Shape, looks everythings the same they didn't even replace the cluster. 1.8 itself is pretty decent power. If you have faltu ka paise go for it.
But generally i don't find it worth the price.
I myself will wait for the next gen.
Keep in mind from 2017 to a rs you'll have to add around 12 13 odd lacks. 12 13 lacks just a extra kick isn't a good idea i reckon.
I was in the same dilemma as well, i decided not to go for it.
I have a grade as well and that thing is wayy better than a civic 1.8 in terms of power and isn't sluggish at all.

Adding 17 lacs just for engine is your choice at the end of the day. I personally own 20 model oriel and at times i really feel inclined for RS turbo as it is no doubt too attractive n the fastest local sedan... If i put myself in your place i dont want to spend 17 18 lac plus for similar car you have driven this generation.
Options currently will be the new crossovers that i can think of.

it's worth the extra 17 lac rupees or not.

in your case it may not be worth extra 17 lac but for someone who is buying a new civic which costs 41,20,000 after adding nav and leather interior which come standard in turbo 47lac
in that case it is worth extra 5lac80thousand

you should search for low mileage civic turbo prefacelift if you dont want to spend extra 17 lacs

One can also opt for turbo oriel as it is 3 lacs cheaper then RS I believe and has the turbo engine so a upgrade worth buying over normal oriel
