Is Fuyao windscreen better or near to factory fitted windscreen by Honda?

I've got nothing to say no more either. Your posts are contradictory and in a circle. Defending ? Really ? All I know is they are the only distributor of fuyao yet you didn't buy fuyao from them so maybe there was no fuyao at all and that's where we descended into this mess. I would definitely stop after this too and stick to the topic , is fuyao better than any other make available in the market ? Absolutely !

Ok i have a finding here. i somehow found a reference in KHI who are supposed to be importers of Fuyao in Pakistan. I talked to them for Vitz 2007 (lk20) windscreen, turns out that they have a price of approx 15-16K for it.

I checked from them and they told me that Madina Glass in RWP is the one who is getting Fuyao from them and they dont know about the rest.

Now Madina in RWP SADDAR market is giving Fuyao for 16k too. Madina told me that he can arrange orignal for 27K.

I checked SADDAR market and Fuyao is almost available at all other shops too with price varying from 12-14K.

Now m so confused that how to verify that who has the right Fuyao.

There is a guy who told me that i can get the LK20 glass for approx 10K even. and he will replicate whichever logo i want on it.

going nuts and in circles. i came back confused.

everyone mentioned that xyg is equally good and was costing approx 12K with fitting.

What to do now? anyone got any pics and method to verify orignal Fuyao?

Your current installed one is original? If so, you have a good reference point. Place the replacement one on top of it and check for contours to match, thats the first thing to verify. Then comes the part that the glass should not have any waves or rainbow burns etc. Which is really hard to judge without installing it and testing at night/day. The shop where I bought mine used an XRAY report and was shining light through it (I think blue light cancellation).
You mention that Madina can procure the original one, if thats legit, would be the best option. Ask them to first procure it, and then you can decide.
For fake and original Fuyao, there is a test where the monogram on the corner rubs off, if its not original. But that didnt work in my case. The logo didnt rub off even with paint thinner, yet the contour of glass was way out when compared to original car windscreen (new oem part did match perfectly). I bought this OEM part from Amjad Corporation Karachi, he said that he picked a stock from honda dealership and this was the the only piece he had (had 1 city previous gen, 1 8th gen civic genuine windscreen too).
You will have to verify your options with these procedures, dont believe on words of shop. I will try to post a picture of Fuyao logo of the broken windshield.

the logo that i checked on Madina Wind Screen is like a black sticker from inside and whereas on the other shop it was like spray painted in white like orignal OEM that we have on our screens.

If you have taken any pics of the logos, please share. The black protruding type letters one is the Fuyao one I got.

The logo should be black not white is the first check. White ink is etched Perma on the windshield whereas black can never be except for some local manufacturer who have overcome the black ink flaw but in that case the ceramic of the glass is to be inspected.

1) fuyao should say fuyao , xyg should say xyg check the logo , try scratching from outside and inside . Check your nail for ink . If it's rubbing be prepared to ignore any excuse being thrown and walk away. If logo is Perma move to step 2. *Putting car manufacturers logo above the respective company name is the normal practice where the manufacturer name would stay but maker name disappear that's a non issue.

2) inspect the ceramic borders. If it's painted it's fake. If you can feel the smooth ceramic surface and appears properly aligned then you are good.

3) rainbows and visionary distortion cannot be inspected prior to installation. You may try to check in sunshine by asking them to raise the windscreen but always ask for warranty and make sure they write it down on their shop header to accept return if you have any vision issue.

4) contours , bends etc can never be checked. Big workshops and denters step in calling them ustaads by checking curvature of the bend where the glass is heated from. The production process of windshields are extremely precise and spot on. They are meant to be exact fit of your vehicle. Fuyao plant for example is mostly operated by robots or extremely discipline workforce with strict compliance (American factory on Netflix)

5) compare prices , always compare prices and check the market.

Madina screen rwp deals in fuyao glass from what I have seen from his social media activity. You can inquire from him further and specifically ask for fuyao. If they don't have it in stock atm you can request him to arrange.

Hi all,

I came across this while searching for Fuyao and Amjad Auto Corp reviews in general. I need to get the windshield for my Cultus's (2010) windshield replaced and Amjad's offering it for 12.5k and XYG for ~9k.

1. Does this sound realistic? Does Fuyao actually still makes windshields for that car and specifically that model and at that price? Ngl, going through this thread hasn't done my confidence any wonders and I don't want to end up replacing an OEM piece, no matter how badly scratched it is, with something that's garbage being sold under the guise of being 'imported maal' and which gets cracked in a day/week/month/year.

2. Do we have a consensus on what methods to employ while checking if the glass is actually manufactured by who it's claimed to be manufactured by and for the exact car etc? Apparently, I'm supposed to be looking for labels that cannot be removed or scratched at all, exact contour matching, and unusual rainbow patterns, amongst other things. Does white/black etchings actually make a difference?

3. If not Fuyao, then what would you recommend for a Cultus 2010? The current glass is OEM but it's practically unusable at night, even street lamps end up blinding you

if your orignal windshield only has scratches and no other issue. get it polished from a trained and able person. it will be fine.

Yes there are fake Fuyao available. And Amjad does sell fake ones (and original ones aswell). Why dont you go for new oem? Its way better than chinese glass fitment wise and will always beat aftermarket glass in anti glare treatment quality.
You can get your glass polished from Water pump market (go to akber autos and ask for the polishing guy). Its a bluff you can take, it may or may not rectify your issue. I had success doing that for one car, for other, I put in new oem glass. Polishing does remove all kinds of uv resistance/anti glare coatings tho (but it isnt much of a factor with beaten up glass anyways)

There is windshield polisher guy at this shop when you will reach there you find him doing car windshield polishing. I got mine done from him year ago did it 1100 no idea about rates these days.

I am not sure what you read above. The windscreen mentioned above is honda oem part bought from your shop, (which you claimed and I believe is genuine), and does not have fitment issues.
Then there was some debate as to if your shop sell honda parts (in my case, I was told this was procured from honda warehouse), and a member here claimed that it isnt honda part.
While buying it, i was offered Fuyao windscreen aswell. But have already put in another same gen civic earlier and its contours never matched as of windshield channel, it cracked after a while aswell.
A member claiming to be your friend above then got very confused if the car itself was the issue (as to accidented). And FYI, had that been the case, i have 0 intentions to hide.
Needing reciepts? in your favour I wont be able to produce them now as you are too late to the party.
Now I would need you to answer if you sell Genuine Honda glass, and the contours of Fuyao (fake and genuine) match exactly to oem spec? If genuine Fuyao contours dont match with oem, where does the fault lies?
Lastly, this is a public forum and you should understand that experiences will be shared here from customer perspective and not exactly how you like them.

We have not come across any issue with the fitment of any screen be it Fuyao or any other brand. However there can be exceptions with manufacturing defects that's why requested for a receipt or a date so that we can trace the issue as this was never brought to our attention i assume. All OEM glasses are made equal and no production facility can afford to diversify as these are Automotive glasses already expensive to procure and manufacture.

We welcome criticism and have no intention to interfere in any discussion or debates . All that is requested is not to drag our company and accuse us of something without evidence as this is our only source of income and we do our utmost to provide the best service , import the best for the consumer and play a fare competition in the market. I hope you understand and the person claiming to be our friend understands it as well. Okay, guys, my Passo 2017's windscreen got a crack, and I need a reliable replacement. Got a quote from Auto Glass In at Water Board, Karachi for 22,500/-. The screen has a radar in it. He claims it is an OEM with lamination. What should I do? I want a reliable screen and the price, well if I am gonna pay around 25k with the fitting I might as well try to get the best one possible. Any advice? Currently, the tag on my windscreen reads Lamipane Nippon Safety NSG M311. It doesn't even say Toyota.
