i like that law btw! it ensures respect for the religion! this is what a moderate human being should practice! not too bold nor too dumb! yet both genders enjoying equal rights ! thats something really good!

What a human being (moderate or otherwise) should practice should be entirely his or her decision, not the government's. Cheers

What if a human being wants to go out naked in public ? ... Obviously that's not right, so there always is a modesty level to be chosen by the government as a minimum. In Islam that's set by divine law, over which we don't have any control, either one follows it or not, ... One can't "mend" it to his own taste.

Brother its not about being too bold or dumb, ... Who are we pointing to when we say "dumb" ? ... Its the law created by One who created us ... We don't have any option but to follow (if we believe in Islamic concepts), He has already decided what is right what is wrong, we're no one to intervene and try to strike the balance on our own limited understanding.

Sir, you can have your opinion by all means ... However I'd rather base my opinions on Islamic guidelines ... Which includes everything including politics, economics and social structure ... And our Prophet P.B.U.H set exemplary political structure based on that.

The point I want to make is, Islam doesn't separate politics from religion. If you think that Islam is disgusting and complex ridden, then that's your opinion.

You're no different from the lot that uses religion as a weapon, a excuse, and even as a logical explanation (which is bewildering to say the least) for everything. Just like you, I'm aware of the teachings of Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism and what have you...it's just that I choose to rise above it all and think coherently. Let's just agree to disagree shall we?

I've no doubts over your knowledge or faith and neither do I have any write to judge you. Now that I've clear my intent, let me repeat that Islam does not separate politics like other religions. Every function of life is a party of it, research, sciences, technology, everything which usually is thought out of Islamic guidelines actually isn't.

And since I as a Muslim believe that divine law by our Creator is the best there could be, I've no way to "rise above" that.
