Installing reverse cam + screen without voiding warranty

In my manual BRV I find dire need for a reverse cam. Getting the full in dash unit will cost me 60K+ whereas all I need is the reverse cam.

Any ideas?

Buy a universal LCD which will cost around 10K and use it for the reverse cam.

The best practice is to buy a back view mirror, the one that supports back cam too (sample link is attached below? It will be very cheap too.
But you're going to void warranty anyways. Because you'll be having an after market product installed in your vehicle.

u can also try out that wireless Back view camera and screen...it was commonly available on aliexpress etc...

Full in dash system wont cost you 60K

Just get a universal in dash system cause BRV has a square cut out of 7inch i think so any 7inch lcd will fit android or non android.
I got a 7inch LCD for 7K from Sultan Ka Khoo cause i needed it for camera too

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. any aftermarket tinkering makes the warranty void. i explored wireless cams also now they are avialable on Daraz too. even for these you have to at least power them thru reverse lights which again is tinkering. i'll go for the first 1000 KM service in a day or two and will check with them any middle ground. maybe parking sensors could be a way out and they should allow installing these if someone doesn't want to spend insane 60K for the in-dash unit just for the reverse cam

went to the dealership for the first 1000 KM inspection, checked with them the screen price and the damn thing now costs a whopping 87,500 PKR. they don't have any other options if i just want the reverse cam not even parking sensors. this is pathetic.

I would not recommend installing any electrical equipment as it will void your warranty.
If you are not concerned with warranty then good android systems with both front and rear cam are available for 30k +-.
My suggestion is to wait till your warranty period is over & then install gadgets of your choice.

Thanks Haaziq! I do understand the importance of warranty especillay with the kind of build quiality our local cars have these days. that's why i was asking for any non-intrusive workarounds

the best i could have thought of is a battery powered mini wifi ip cam installed/ pasted around number plate and connected over wifi to your phone. i have tried this at home but yet to find a good enough cam for car. couple of options available on Daraz/ AliExpress but not too sure of their output quality

Well for my Toyota gli manual I got it done from Toyota dealership and it didnot void the warranty .

Honda and its dealers don't seem to care! A colleague got tracker installed in his leased civic by the bank's appointed provider at the dealership before even getting the car delivered to him and still he was told that his warranty is void. he raised hue and cry over emails but nobody even cared to respond

New honda cities don't need any tinkering to install cam. Wires and plugs are already placed in the trunk and in dash. Only required plugging in. As long as your not peeling or cutting wires, you are ok.
