So toyota and all other manufacturers with solid lifters on the valvetrain are morons to specify valve lash check at 100,000 kms and replacing platinum plugs too, iridium ones last for 150,000 kms
The owner can be a moron and drive it till it falters and damages more parts like valve seats and coils etc then go crying about how unreliable the car is or how bad the fuel is in their country or that they have bad mechanics. Everything other than themselves are at fault.
Lol
Ive been turning wrenches for a loooooooooong time, in Pakistan and other countries too, your innocent assumptions of “parfarminss” and “mota hail” are a dime a dozen everyday in my work, but in real world usage, tested and proven always wins.
E.g. corollas with nz, zr or zz engines can run for 2,000,000 kms on the same engine without issue if the owner follows toyota japan service specifications. (Hundreds of thousands of these and also camrys run as taxis in hottest and worst conditions)
The ones that land in junkyard are always lower level miles and owned by the type of people who thought maintenance means check light illumination and then say “chik lite aan howee, mechanic ne kaha 2000 dollar kharcha hai, hum ne forann scrap kardi, aainda toyota nahi lenge bohot kharcha maangti hai” lol
