Inspection at 40000 km from Honda

Hi, I went for 40k inspection for my civic, Honda service point was offering attached package. please suggest about offering by Honda point). Is it worth to go with this package or get separate inspection of specific things.

If your car is running good and everything is smooth then you only need brake service, coolant top up and possibly wheel replacement apart from usual oil and filter changes.
But if you think pick up is lagging and mileage is going down or car is missing or AC is not cooling like it used to then get the package !

After this inspection they will most probly give u another list of things they found out that you should do which obv wont be required.

I wud suggest
-Change oil and oil filter (if prev is used for about 6k km already)
-Air fitler change
-Gear oil change
-Tyre rotation
-coolant check and top up
-brake service

in city of RYK getting the job done in under 15000 is fair deal.

no need to change TRANSMISSION FLUID

engine oil & oil filter change shall be done as regular maintenance 5000 - 7000 intervals'

Isn't it earlier to change gear oil at 40k? Honda city sales lahore said i should change mine at 60k

In my 2017 Civic, I went for engine oil and filter change and CVT oil change (as per manual).

I need urgent help with a query. Please oblige.
In order to fix the oil chamber leak of Honda City Prosmatic 2019, does one has to open the whole engine or the chamber can separately be detached and fixed?
Moreover. Any way to fix it without opening up the engine?

Well 2019 model should still be in warranty.

Are you sure it is a leakage from chamber. There is a common fault in city of PCB plate seals leakage. It happened in my car as well. I took it to Honda Gateway and they fixed it under warranty free of cost. They only have to open the sulf starter unit and plate can be removed easily and resealed. When i was there getting my car fixed there was a City 1.3 PT 2018 next to mine having the same problem worked on

Yes. Im sure it is a chamber leak. There is a crack (not a big one though but i don't think it matters).
Problem now is that the car is new and i won't like for the engine to be opened.

Question still is. Will they have to open the engine to fix the chamber because to my mechanic it appeared that the chamber alone cannot be opened without disassembling the whole engine.

Its part of engine which is part of drive train and that is covered in warranty !
How did this happen?
I believe, City has that sheet under the engine which protects anything from ground to rise up and hit it !!!

If there is a crack then the permanent solution is to replace the cracked part and that will probably be done by opening the engine.

As for the warranty, did your car hit something? As Honda might consider it a damage due to some accidental hit and not the manufacturing fault

Unfortunately and unluckily the portion of engine oil chamber is not covered by this sheet.

Well thats just pure badluck and it sucks...
Well its a new car and warranty and insurance both are there..just get it checked by dealership, i hope they can offer you a simple yet durable fix !

get it fixed from HONDA, Sump can be removed without engine removal. for that the front suspension need to be unbolted from under carriage while vehicle is on jack stand / lift, vehicle is brand new have heart change to oem new.( source it from scrap yard )

if you attempt repair using some sealant you are risking too much...
