Improving Power,Speed,accelaration (Honda CG125cc)

Dear All!

It is something that i always wanted to try, just want to share with some of the technical people out there to see if it is Possible?

I want to improve the accelaration, Top Speed of Honda CG125CC Classic bike by increasing the piston size alone. I just wanted to ask the technical people in this forum to discuss in detail; what will be outcomes if we do that? will it suffice what i want to achieve. I'm found of racing bikes and thats what i always wanted to do.

u can improve your speed and acceleration by putting 4 tip bosch spark plug

Upgrade CDI to sports

Change silencer to good quality mufler

Do cylinder head work/tuning

check if you can upgrade cylinder to 160cc or 200cc only if necessary

Nd For Accceleration ..

Change Front And Rear chain spockets ..the ones with more teehts .they'll give you prettry fast acceleration...

but as you'll also doworkwith your head/engine etc ... so ask the machenic which one will suitable for your enngine parts or engine specs what eever they'll b

Got a question; Only increasing the size of piston i.e. 150cc or 200cc and cylinder as per its accordance; will it improve considerable amount of power of a 125cc Honda CG, without having to change the inlet/outlet valve size and bore?

To my understanding this will do very little difference? Kindly Discuss

ALL muflers does not mean shor(in pakistan ya it means only shor cause we want shor not performance) some muflers if u know are made for greater airflow at low noise ratio. if u see a sportsbike its normally 450cc and much quieter than stock125 and there engine size is greater. also see if u compare honda cg125 with honda cbr125 you will get clear picture

increasing size of piston in 125 is ridiculus. 125 mein srf clutch box mein alteration hoti hai bas jo kay kamyab hai. werna sab baikaar hai.

Dear all;
coming back to my topic after a very long time and want to share some experiences. AS I switched to Mehran and stopped biking for my health reasons, I did some experiments in the same context. some were successful.

1) used a 200 CC carburetor. It helped to take much air into the engine.
2) Performance racing intake. (helped engine to breath better)
3) front chain gear increased to 17 teeth. and rear to lesser teeth (don't remember now, it helped the bike reach to 110 km/hr in 3rd gear).
4) five gear shifter gear box.
5) Better performance homemade muffler with bigger pipes.

with aforementioned mods, I can beat any bike in 125 cc class. Still searching for racing CDI's though.
