more cylinders and u have more top end HP per CC
and will be with high rpm which will result in low torque
less cylinders and u have more torque and less top end HP
u talking about cultus now
first engine was 1000cc 9 valve 3cyl non efi 50hp engine
the same version with efi is ranked 55hp
but the new 1 with 4 cyl 16 valve has above 60hp..whoch has almost 7200rpm limit
