I lost HONDA City Original Key, Help Please!

I bought Honda City Aspire 1.5 Prosmetec a month before. Today I lost it's Remote key at my house. i tried my best but couldn't find it. It has transmitting signal for opening Car door remotely. I need to know if some one can suggest me a way through electronic device to find my key ring, i'll be very obliged to him.

Bro plz clarify that your car was equipped wid immobilizer key ? If thats the case then simply go to 3S Honda dealership and order a new key, i hav no idea of Multan but in Lahore getting a duplicate Immobilizer key is not an issue other-than Honda dealership

Electronically when Remote key is in the home, there must be a way to find it through any external device. Becuase it has remote device with it. I know its not gprs , but it has connection with Car's internal lock system. Isn't it ?

While searching over the net I came to know that research is being done in this particular field and a student is doing PhD in this particular field. What I am getting out of it is that since city doesnt have an immobilizer hence there wont be any issue in getting spare keys from Honda. Which I guess is a tedious task if city was equipped with an immobilizer.

If you have the simple key, just get a new car key made, no need to visit Honda shonda.
For safety- keep a close eye on the person making it, or just visit him in Rickshaw

That is not possible, u will have to make a new key, or try to search again and the best way to find your lost key is to recite (انا لله وانا اليه راجعون) :)

You actually got me brother. now i have two questions;
i. can we ask and confirm honda which type of Remote key they provide ? i.e. > There are two main types of keyless remotes — Remote Keyless Entry (RKE), and Passive Keyless Entry (PKE) —
ii. if fortunately there is PKE, is there any device in the market through which we can call our remote ?

I can go on bicycle; doesn't matter :).

If i'm unable to find a device through which I can indicate my Key-Remtote, then please let me know about the key remote. Will i have to use central locking system available in the market or any thing more secure u can suggest ?

you can make one more key from any good remote walas..
you dont need to change the system, here in karachi it cost around 2000..

City does not have an immobilizer so it does not have a Transponder key....its has a smple key....go to any roadside Lock Master and get the key made ...would cost you from 300 to 800 depending on the area and your bargaining skills...get as many keys made as you want....
Secondly for remote...it is just a keyless entry not a Security system of any sort or in any Sense....if you dont find the it go to Honda 3S dealer for its replacement...if they quote you insanely high price then go for any good after market Keyless entry system....it wont make any difference...
Recently lost my Baleno's FF Keyless entry remote...installed after market PLC keyless entry system for 3500...it works exactly like OEM system....on first click only driver side is unlocked and on 2nd all doors...mine didnt had Cabin light Option but there are many out there that have this option too...plus i didnt liked the Siren so got installed but didnt connect it...now every function works exactly like OEM Remote......I heard Steelmate and PLC both are good systems...
btw i got it installed not For security purpose but for solely Keyless entry although they call it security system but its just "sho sha"...nothing else...just provides you keyless entry ...security system in these alarms is Hell easy to by pass but that shouldnt be a concern as City doesnt have OEM security system anyway....

^^ Go to Nawa Shehar Chowk, there you will find many options for keyless entry, prices start from Rs.2,000 to Rs.8,000 depending upon quality and features. All are Chinese but they work well, I have been using Rs.2500/- keyless entry in my older car and it worked flawless.

If you live in Shah Rukan-e-Alam Colony, then best place to visit is "Innovators", its near Daewoo Terminal. They are a bit costly but got only quality stuff.

And yeah, even if you choose to install new Keyless entry system along with new key, still it will cost you less then Honda Quote

In terms of providing security all systems are equally insecure...but i guess that wont be issue as your previous system was not a security system... as for working reliability is concerned i am using PLC and i am very satisfied with it but i have heard Steelmate is better than PLC.... if the quote is 8500 I'll recomend you to go with OEM as good after market system and one key would cost you around 4000 although cheaper systems are also available.....
