I have a CD 175 bike that I want to restore. My main concern is that I don't like its engine because it makes a lot of noise. Restoring this engine is also challenging due to the unavailability of parts, and it uses a point system and 6-volt electrical system. I've heard from many people that the CD 175 is not suitable as a daily driven bike.
Therefore, I want to change the engine. I have a few engines on my wish list, but I need guidance regarding this project:

CD 200 engine
Rebel CB250 engine
I am open to other suggestions as well.

My requirements are:

Dual silencer option
Availability of parts
12-volt electrical system
Easy to fit
Reliable
Not less than 200cc

which city are you from? If from karachi, i can give you mechanic numbers to restore it.
CD175 engine is itself good if properly restored.
You can get it upgraded to 12volt either point or CDI ignition.
Parts are easily available, however very costly on price side.
Rebel and cd200 engine are both dual cylinder. you can put either engine in it.
