Hey Everyone.

I went through some forums here on pakwheels and been doing my search online as well but i haven't came across something legit in Pakistan regarding Motorcycle Sidecars.

We Dont see many sidecars these days. Very Very Rare.

I own a Suzuki GS 150 & i am looking to get a detachable side car for my two kids for family trips. I Consider putting a kid on petrol tank of a bike a serious safety hazard as you know bikes are very vulnerable.

So anyone who has any idea about the vendor or a manufacturer, Please help me out here.

GS 150 may not be able to pull the additional weight. I'd suggest that you speak with a proper technician or an engineer before finalizing anything as sidecars have balancing requirement apart from the price point.

I think GS150 has enough power to pull a small sidecar with kids or lightweight cargo in it. I have seen scooters and smaller bikes pulling sidecars. Many videos that belong to Thailand. Even in Pakistan there used to be sidecars for Vespas. They were also 150cc.

I have never seen any sidecars here yet which is really strange that it should have been popular in Pakistan

Exactly. Chingchis are so popular, Which are not even practical, Safe, Legal & environment Friendly. Yet there are no sidecars. I have seen people moving on bikes with families and getting into nasty accidents. May Allah Protect us all. At least having a small sidecar for kids and family makes it safe.

Last year I saw a Triumph Thruxton with a sidecar in Quetta but that was for sure a non custom motorbike. Its not easily available in Pakistan and importing from alibaba or through any other country will cost you around 200-350k. So I'd suggest to check few youtube videos for custom motorbike sidecar making and then you can go to any engineering works for a good craftmanship.

Brother, there's a difference between the torque of a 2stroke Vespa vs a 4stroke GS150. Power is meant for top end speed.
Anyway, if you wish to experiment, it would be best to find a mechanic and not just a fabricator, for this project.
