How to revert Throttle Body Stop Screw setting to factory default?

My car was idling very roughly and engine was almost stalling so I went to Jameel Autos today and he removed TB .

It had carbon deposits , IACV was stuck and coolant lines were corroded and blocked with some silicon type material (forgotten to take its pic).
So Mr. Irshad cleaned TB and IACV and fitted back.
And then he started the engine, at start its rpm reached 2000 and then came down to 1100 eventually. So he adjusted TB Stop Screw. PS he also removed spark plugs which were all black he cleaned them and refitted. The rpm fluctuation has gone but I am worried that he messed with factory default setting. Is it OK or should I try to revert it back to factory default settings (stop screw) @capsat @xulfiqar

You will realize this in the morning.

Setting on a warm/hot car would be different. I had to go 3 days straight to the mechanic and later left it over to him so he could figure out the cold start.

Later the VVT sensor was found to be the culprit.

Which car/engine is it?

When fully warmed up most petrol toyota corollas usually idle around 8-900 rpm (could be lower for newer vehicles) and at cold start in the morning it should rev up around 2000 for a short period and rpm should come down to normal idle if coolant lines are properly connected.

Yes about 900 rpm at idle should be right,

How's the behavior of vehicle after the service? Is it running smoothly? How's the fuel average? Did u get the injectors checked and ecu scan for any codes?

No codes found, Injectors not checked but car is much better Alhamdolillah
fuel average will be found after some 100 KM's of drive

drive 1 tank full and calculate fuel average before & after work. in terms of idle screw cold engine start up rpm are different. He may have played with the screw to reset it to defaults after cleanup of TB.

Ustad class with no scanners available have fun playing with TB screw and coolant flow tubes to mess up whole air fuel mixture chronology at our cost.

please post your observations for fuel consumption and vehicle performance after the job.

Yes sir I always calculate full to full. After Reserve light it takes 40 liters to fill up the tank and it should travel atleast 380 KM's

He was also concerned about Ignition advance so he done some adjustments with IACV motor but no change in timing advance happened then he said its Ok as per his idea

So far I found him a much better mechanic than most of the local ustaads as atleast he works himself and doesnt let the work to be done by chota ustad
